Josh Gordon reveals severity of addiction in fascinating piece

Josh Gordon Talks Drug Use; WR Reportedly Plans to File for Reinstatement

The Browns do still hold his rights.

Later in the day, James took to Twitter to share his support for Gordon, who hasn't played in an NFL game since the 2014 season and remains under league suspension following a myriad of failed drug tests.

How do you feel about the chance for Gordon to return to Cleveland? "If given the opportunity, I believe I can prove my worth".

During a 2013 campaign that saw him appear in 14 games, Gordon made 87 catches, led the league with 1,646 yards and reeled in nine touchdowns.

"I got suspended for the entire year", Gordon said, "and after that it kind of all came in from all angles, different fans, everybody kind of was like 'Oh, you're a piece of s--, you're a drug addict, you're a junkie, whatever, you're alcoholic'".

Trump Suggests He Has a Higher IQ Than Rex Tillerson
Murphy also criticized Trump for undermining the nation's diplomatic efforts, especially those of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson .

The most eye-opening moment of the documentary involves a Baylor coach assisting Gordon to cheat a drug test following a marijuana possession arrest.

In this revealing piece with Uninterrupted, Gordon reveals many shocking details about his use of drugs off the field, how it was covered up in college, and what he's now doing in hopes of getting his life back on track.

"I've had someone in my family that's had substance abuse and it's very easy to point the finger at people when you don't know what they're going through", James said. Now out of rehab, Gordon is expected to apply for reinstatement soon. In 2010, during his sophomore season, police found Gordon and a teammate in a auto with marijuana inside. "If they do call you in, here goes these bottles of detox, '" Gordon said in the interview. According to him, Baylor coaches helped him pass drug tests while he was a member of the football program.

Gordon explained that by saying at the time his mindset was, "I'm out of detox drinks".

"And then just something clicked in my head at that point, it's like 'man, you did it again. That was my first experience with, like, getting over on the system and the authority not really being serious because it was kind of being guided by someone who was employed by the university". "You're willing to throw away everything you ever worked hard for, everything you ever had out of life.' It was so odd, but I just had a desire to stop", Gordon said. He performed well, but was suspended indefinitely due to a failed drug test.
