Mobile Caps High-Speed Data At 5GB While Roaming In Canada, Mexico

T-Mobile is about to add a new limit to its unlimited plans

Unfortunately, T-Mobile has now announced that it will alter the Mobile without Borders offer with a high-speed data cap for Mexico and Canada from November 12.

Go from NY to Canada, or from California to Mexico; it's just like going from Idaho to Texas, from Georgia to Kentucky.

The company T-Mobile has provided the information about usage breakdowns on its official website that is visible to all people. The company T-Mobile unveiled that from November 12, it will bind the unlimited LTE data to 5 GB monthly at the time of traveling to USA neighbors. After burning through 5GB, your speeds will drop to just 128kbps (or 256kbps if you have a T-Mobile One Plus plan). It was nearly like traveling out of state and not overseas. For T-Mobile One customers, the One Plus global option can be added for an extra $25 per month, and that'll get you unlimited high-speed data when venturing across the border. This plan was offered only for U.S. citizens with a One or One Plus Mobile. Now, wherever you call, wherever you travel in Mexico & Canada, your phone just works- like at home.

T-Mobile explains they're making this change "In order to prevent usage beyond the intent of the product", adding "Less than 1% of people with this benefit travel to Mexico and Canada use over 5GB a month". It's not unlimited LTE but it appears subscribers have been consuming large amounts.

Egypt: Khattab Gets 12 Votes in 2nd Round of Unesco Election
The new director-general will replace Irina Bokova in this post and be confirmed at the UNESCO General Conference in November. The agency's outgoing head, Bulgaria's Irina Bokova, told French radio that UNESCO's "universal mission was in jeopardy".

T-Mobile - that had been offering unlimited cellular data in Canada and Mexico - has now put a cap on the maximum data that you can use when you are visiting these countries, even if you are on an unlimited plan.

"Mobile Without Borders is an incredible benefit and allows customers to stay connected when traveling in Canada and Mexico".

The best Unlimited Plan crown has been fiercely contested in 2017, with many carriers launching new offers to try and one-up each other.

Do you think this is an unfair move from T-Mobile?
