Golfer Lahiri drops to tied 23rd at CIMB Classic

Perez extends lead at CIMB Classic

Pat Perez picked up his third career PGA Tour victory on Sunday by winning the CIMB Classic in Malaysia, finishing four shots clear of Keegan Bradley.

Perez finished the tournament at 24-under 264 to win $1.26 million and 500 FedEx Cup points, earning an automatic entry for next year's Masters.

Korea's Sung Kang, a one-time Asian Tour victor, returned with a 65 to take third place while Japan's Hideki Matsuyama, who has two top-five results in the event, and Keegan Bradley of the United States are tied for fourth on 201.

"I knew the guys atop the leaderboard were going to extend their lead and I was hoping to get 12, 15 under at the start of the day", he said.

After claiming his first title at the 2009 Bob Hope Classic, Perez had to wait almost eight years for his second breakthrough at the OHL Classic in Mexico last November.

Qualcomm wants iPhone sales, manufacturing banned in China
This is the latest strike in a legal war between the two companies, which started out in the USA and has since expanded worldwide. Instead, Apple said that the royalty payments it owed to Qualcomm should be based on the actual cost of the technology only.

"Of course everybody wants to win, it would be nice to do it, but I'm not going to put pressure on myself to win". I'm really not going to change anything.

"I mean for the last two days, every time I made a birdie, he did, too", Bradley told reporters.

Smith struggled during his second round of 71 and slipped down to joint-third with South Korean Sung Kang (68) and Belgian Thomas Pieters (67). "I just didn't make enough putts and didn't capitalize on enough opportunities to have a really good finish".

"I have to keep the game-plan pretty much the same really: just be smart off the tee, try to hit the fairways and then really aggressive into the greens".

Defending champion Justin Thomas' chances appear over after he finished the day tied for 24th at 6-under, despite posting his best round with a 3-under 69.
