6 killed as cylinder blast brings down building, several feared trapped

A girl child rescued from the collapsed building in Bengaluru's Ejipura on Monday will be adopted by the Karnataka government which will take care of all her future expenses. "An LPG cylinder exploded on the ground floor of a two-storeyed building sometime between 6 and 7 a.m.in Ejipura area". The deceased have been identified as Kalavathi (68), Ravichandran (46), Prasad (18), Ashwini (28), Saravana (18), Maladri (25) and Sarva Kalyan (19).
