Brazile Alleges Clinton Rigged Democratic Primary

Former DNC Chair Donna Brazile drops bombshell about Hillary Clinton

The agreement is the most overt evidence that the DNC rigged the 2016 Democratic Primaries for Hillary Clinton. "But what we've got to do as Democrats now, we've got to hold this party accountable".

Bottom line? The #DNCLeaks scandal exposed a fundamental subversion of democracy, one liberals have conveniently overlooked in leveling unproven election rigging allegations against US president Donald Trump.

Former interim DNC chair Donna Brazile's op-ed in Politico is excerpted from her forthcoming book.

"If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead", Brazile wrote.

"I kept asking the party lawyers and the DNC staff to show me the agreements that the party had made for sharing the money they raised, but there was a lot of shuffling of feet and looking the other way", Brazile wrote in her excerpt.

Brazile, a former CNN contributor who was later dismissed after it was discovered she had forked over debate questions to Clinton's campaign, claimed when she took over as party chairwoman, the DNC was $24 million in debt. It specified that in exchange for funding the DNC, Clinton's campaign would have control over the DNC's budget, strategy, staffing, data operations, and mailing. Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.), according to former interim chairwoman Donna Brazile. But the agreement was apparently signed in August 2015, nearly a year before Clinton clinched the nomination. As details of the arrangement emerged in the spring of 2016, the joint fund-raising effort drew a great deal of scrutiny from the Sanders camp, the Vermont senator's supporters, and the state party committees that signed on.

President Buhari To Expand Cabinet Ahead Of 2019 Race
A move by some governors on the platform of the APC to endorse President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term failed on Tuesday. The caucus meeting was coming before the National Executive Council, NEC, meeting taking place today.

Days earlier, on the eve of the Democratic primary in NY, the Vermont senator had accused the Clinton campaign of improperly subsidizing the former secretary of state's presidential bid through the Hillary Victory Fund, the joint fuy vehicle her campaign set up with the Democratic National Committee and 32 state party committees.

Are we surprised? Hell no. This agreement was between Hillary For America, the campaign arm, a separate entity, Hillary Victory Fund, and the DNC. Rather than place much too blame on the Clinton Campaign, Brazile explains that Debbie Wasserman Schultz ran the DNC into the ground, overpaying a large staff, vendors, and consultants while accomplishing little through fundraising.

Jeffrey Weaver, Sanders' former campaign chair, told CNN in an interview November 2 that he remembered several instances in which actions by the DNC appeared to favor Clinton.

Yes, to the pleasure of Donald Trump supporters and alt-right conspiracy theorists everywhere, Brazile says she found proof that Clinton had "rigged the nomination process".

"This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party's integrity", Brazile wrote.

In her call to Sanders - the one that she had to play gospel music and light candles for to bolster her nerves - she Sanders took the news stoically and asked Brazile what she thought Clinton's chances were.

"This is a test for Tom Perez", Warren said.
