NFL's Josh Gordon drank, used drugs before games

Josh Gordon to report to Browns on Tuesday

Gordon felt so good, he went looking for a way to reward himself.

It also includes the 2013 NFL season, the year he led the league with 1,646 yards (compiled in 14 games) and became the first receiver ever to record back-to-back games of 200-plus yards (237 and 261).

In an interview with Clay Skipper of GQ magazine that was released on Monday, the Cleveland Browns wide receiver opened up on hard-hitting topics such as his battles with addiction, his latest attempt at making an National Football League comeback, and then fact that he used drugs or alcohol before every National Football League game he played in.

"Even before I was getting tested for alcohol, prior to my DWI in 2014, I would take the biggest bong rip I could".

Josh Gordon had a serious problem.

A 2013 All-Pro selection, Gordon has missed the last 41 games, 51 of the past 56 and hasn't played in the regular season since December 21, 2014, because of recurring violations of the NFL's substance-abuse policy.

"Every game. Probably every game of my career", Gordon said in the question-and-answer session with GQ, which published Monday afternoon. So I'd leave the hotel early morning, go home, eat breakfast, do my little ritual, whatever it may be, some weed, some alcohol, and then go to the game.

Budget: Senator Saraki urges President Buhari to create more jobs
Buhari also assured that the country's power sector would witness a turnaround in the coming fiscal year. Their grievance was said to be the alleged poor implementation of the 2017 budget.

Josh Gordon of the Cleveland Browns warms up before the start of a preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"I used to make a ritual of it before every game", Gordon explained. At the moment the situation has changed, as Gordon once again allowed to play American football at the professional level. "I do need to feel comfortable that he is not", Jackson said.

"I think he was letting things out, if that's what was said", Jackson told ESPN. Because at this point in time, the trajectory, you're going to die. That seems absurd, and it was a hard life to try to hide. "That's what I would do for games".

"I would have these little pre-made shots", he said.

He detailed his pregame routine, which included a couple of shots of alcohol, preferably Grand Marnier, to "get the motor running". I could drink it down smooth. "I could usually drink a lot of it", Gordon told the magazine.

Marc Sessler of NFL.com broke down the situation, noting the NFL announced Gordon-who is on the Commissioner's Exempt List-was reinstated on a conditional basis and can start practicing again on November 20. "That's what I would do for games".

"I don't think he is trying to do that".
