Taylor Swift's 'Reputation': Everything We Know About the New Album

It wasn't until June of 2017 that Swift finally gave in to let a catalog of her music, including 1989, to stream. Like it's so different, but it's so her. ... According to the video, she personally selected the fans from all over the world over the course of a year, inviting them to small home gatherings everywhere from London to L.A. and Rhode Island to hear her sixth studio album in all its glory.

Yet, as the release date for Reputation approaches, four executives at major streaming services said they did not expect the album to be made available for streaming, at least at first. Her team and reps for Spotify declined to comment on the release strategy.

It's still unclear whether or not the pop star, who infamously slammed music streaming in a letter back in 2014, will allow Reputation to stream on services like Apple Music and Spotify.

One of those ways is pushing CD sales-a format that most other musicians have already given up on, as it makes little sense to try and get fans to pay $9.99 for a single record if they can have access to 30,000 songs on a streaming service for the same price each month. UPS trucks emblazoned with Swift's face are poised to deliver copies of the CD and Target will sell a special version of it with Swift-designed print magazines.

Together, Batman and Wonder Woman will work to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

Today, Swift posted a YouTube video showing what happened when she invited some incredibly lucky fans to get a first listen of the new LP.

For those who have been watching Spotify closely, there have been signs of a lack of promotion of Swift's music.

"Reputation, which arrives Friday, will include the songs "Look What You Made Me Do", ".Ready For It?" That apparently wasn't enough to satisfy Swift, though whatever the current deal-breaker is, it's a secret for now. "Every song is a freaking masterpiece and we all were speechless".
