Files Go App Being Tested on Android

Google Files Go

Files Go is a mix between a file manager app and a file sharing app, allowing you to manage all that's on your phone, but also send files easily to others who have the app installed.

This is a beta app, and Google notes that there could be some bugs and issues that arise while using the app.

As you dive into the various sections, you can then filter the files by source for easier discovery, access, or deletion. The app was briefly listed as an unreleased app on Google Play, with users required to enter an early access programme for testing.

AirDrop is one of those Apple-only features that has made its devices extremely useful.

Recognize and help you remove the spam & duplicate images. Now, according to a now-pulled app on Google Play reported by 9to5Google, the company is testing a new Files Go app.

Today Google released Files Go Beta for Android devices.

WOW air plans flights out of JFK
Good news, New Yorkers - Iceland's low-priced airline, WOW Air , will be offering flights out of JFK beginning April 26, 2018. The flight between Reykjavik and JFK is scheduled to be just over six hours and will be flown daily.

The app itself is fairly lightweight, as an under 6 MB download. It will tell you Documents, Videos, Images, Downloads, and Received Files.

Files Go also appears to be aimed at Android users in emerging markets and could be extra helpful on devices with limited local storage that are used in areas with patchy network coverage.

From there, users are brought to a message-like interface that shows a history of file transfers. It also has a handy file send/receive feature that can be done with another nearby phone even if you don't have a data connection.

So the good news is that this app is available right now through the APK. Like the similar app AirDrop by rival Apple s app that runs only on iOS smartphones, it will operate through contacts.

In a panel below it lists stored chat app media, such as pictures, that can be removed.

Essentially, Google has chose to capitalize on the interest in the new app, thanks to its exposure through media coverage. To help in this situation, Google has introduced an app.
