Sledgehammer Addresses Call of Duty: WW2 Multiplayer Issues

Call of Duty WWII Launched With Double XP Active Unintentionally Triple XP Confirmed

The double XP event that's been extended for one more day is now scheduled to end on November 14 at 10 a.m. PT, so get in as much Call of Duty time as you can tonight before the XP gains drop off. At least, not yet.

Until the Call of Duty: WWII servers are back online fully, you will be alone in Headquarters unless you invite friends. When disconnected from the game after a match, the game does not give you credit for the challenges you've completed such as completing a win in a particular game mode for example.

Despite doubling Infinite Warfare's sales, Call of Duty: WWII has had some problems since it launched two weeks ago.

"While our previous game update, which released early Friday, [November 10], solved several critical needs, unfortunately it also had an adverse effect on server performance", said Sledgehammer in an update.

Who Can Stop Rafael Nadal And Roger Federer — ATP Finals Preview
But Federer saw the amusing side later: "It was a big distraction, I'll tell you that, because [Sock's posterior] was very big. The Spaniard will play his first match at the tournament for the top eight players in the world on Monday against Goffin.

Dedicated servers will be tested in the U.S. today. "Everyone was getting 2XP since 11/3 and up until we made the playlist change late Thursday night, which effectively launched 3XP". Our objective to return to dedicated servers is our highest priority. "We'll watch this test closely, and once we analyse the results we'll look to expand". We'll monitor the results, and keep everyone updated. While they try to stabilize this aspect of the game, they're going to continue to have Headquarters be a solo/party experience. "We won't rest until we resolve everything we can for the community". So hang in there while we address the most pressing concerns first.

"We also want to reinforce our commitment to PC fans", the post adds. This issue also caused loss of data so players will surely be happy when this update rolls out. For this reason, we'll wait a bit longer before deploying the patch to the PC in order to ensure everything is the way it needs to be first. This follows a Game Update which did more harm than good.

If you think you will buy all of the maps because you loved the Call of Duty: WWII beta or because you enjoyed your first weekend with the game than you should buy the Season Pass.
