University Of Arkansas Quarterback Cole Kelley Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI

University of Arkansas QB Cole Kelley Arrested for DWI

Arkansas quarterback Cole Kelley has been indefinitely suspended following his arrest early Sunday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and careless driving.

Kelley agreed to the terms Bielema put forth for his return.

Kelley had logged considerable playing time for the Razorbacks after an injury to Austin Allen in the University of SC game.

The police report says Kelley refused to take a breath test. Records indicate an initial court hearing for Kelley is scheduled for Monday.

Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema said in a statement released by the school he was informed of the incident. In his place, Kelley completed 3 of 10 attempts for 36 yards and threw an interception. He has 1,038 passing yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions this season.

After the match, their veteran 39-year-old goalkeeper Buffon confirmed his global retirement and also apologised for his team's failure.

The 4-6 Razorbacks were 2-2 with him as a starter, winning games against Ole Miss and Coastal Carolina after Kelley led fourth-quarter comebacks.

Bielema said Allen felt physically fine on Sunday following his first game since injuring his throwing shoulder against SC on October 7, joking that Allen said his only sore body part were his legs from all the running he did against LSU.

"He's been pretty honest and up front with me all the way through", Bielema said.

"He didn't play good enough for us to win", Enos said. Storey played three times a year ago, in games against Texas State, Alcorn State and Auburn, completing one of four passes for three yards. Walk-on redshirt freshman Jack Lindsey will be the No. 3 quarterback.
