IPhone X iOS 11.1.1 gets jailbroken

Your iPhone X is about to wirelessly charge faster

Techs at MR tested the functionality with the public beta version of 11.2 and an iPhone X, verifying that that it did indeed charge faster on a 7.5W charger than a 5W equivalent. However, iPhone X jailbroken actually means that the Apple's latest phone does have vulnerabilities that can be exploited to offer users a jailbreak.

There are several officially supported Qi fast wireless chargers for the iPhones from Mophie and Belkin, but the Apple trio should be able to reach its new maximum 7.5W charging speed with any wireless charger that has the output. MacRumors originally reported the news after a tip from accessory maker RAVpower. In MacRumors' trial, the iPhone X running iOS 11.2 on a Belkin 7.5W wireless charger took thirty minutes to go from 46-percent to 66-percent. Apple's working on its own AirPower wireless charging pad, one that will charge up to three devices at a time like (your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch).

University Of Arkansas Quarterback Cole Kelley Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI
Kelley had logged considerable playing time for the Razorbacks after an injury to Austin Allen in the University of SC game. Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema said in a statement released by the school he was informed of the incident.

Still, that ramp up to 7.5W is barely touching the current limits of the Qi wireless charging technology, which allows for up to 15W of power to be transmitted to compatible devices. The Qi standard, now at v1.2, actually supports up to 15W being delivered. Still, if you're a supporter of wireless charging, faster charging speeds can only encourage you to embrace the cable-free future (and will probably get you to stop fiddling with your phone).
