Complaint against Farooq Abdullah, Rishi Kapoor over remarks on PoK

Govt stress on use of tech-tools in security says Hansraj Ahir

Close on the heels of National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah saying that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) belonged to Pakistan and it would not allow India to take it back, minister of state for home Hansraj Ahir said on Thursday that PoK was part of India and if wanted we can wrest back that part of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sukesh Khajuria filed a complaint with District Magistrate against former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and actor Rishi Kapoor and sought action against them under section 196 of CrPC, which deals with offences against the State and for criminal conspiracy to commit such offence.

That (PoK) is Pakistan's and this (J-K) is India's. "That is Pakistan and this is India".

It alleged that Abdullah "always makes such controversial remarks and statements by which the nation and its people feel ashamed of such persons being Indian citizens".

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, who is also the national president of the Janata Dal (United), said "entire Kashmir, including the areas under Pakistani occupation, is an integral part of India". He is losing his credibility. "If we try to get PoK back, no one can stop us because it is our right", he said.

Princes William & Harry to Cameo in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'!
Rumors have been swirling about the royals' role in the upcoming Star Wars movie since they visited the film set in April 2016. He also added that seeing the famous men "wrapped in Stormtrooper costumes" felt like a "strange contrast of a weird family".

"I tell them in plain terms - not only the people of India, but also to the world - that the part (of J&K) which is with Pakistan (PoK) belongs to Pakistan and this side to India".

Farooq Abdullah's statement came days after Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had rejected the idea of an "independent Kashmir", saying it was not based on "reality".

Abdullah also called for reversal of all Central laws extended to J&K after 1953.

"The restoration of autonomy to J-K is non-negotiable", he asserted.
