White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will answer questions from reporters Thursday afternoon.

"I think Hillary Clinton probably should have dealt with some of her own issues before addressing this president".

"Specifically, Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing and the president hasn't", Sanders said when asked if Trump should be investigated in the same manner as the Minnesota Democrat. Al Franken, both of whom have been accused of sexual misconduct, saying the difference between the two is Trump denied the claims made by more than a dozen women and went on to become president.

"I haven't asked him, and I'd have to ask him and get back to you", she said. Al Franken are worthy of an investigation but those against Trump aren't. And last month, Sanders said the official position of the White House is that all 16 women who accused Trump of sexual misconduct are lying.

White House correspondent April Ryan asked for a comment about a conversation she had with Clinton earlier on Friday where Clinton criticized Trump for alleged past behaviors.

Ryan then informed Sanders that she'd spoken to Clinton - who told Ryan that she was anxious about Trump's past.

"Look, I think that this was covered pretty extensively during the campaign", Sanders said.

The briefing began with a query about Moore and continued in that way for the first half of the meeting. The president, she reiterated, finds the allegations against Moore "extremely troubling" and if the allegations are true, he thinks he should step aside.
