Apple iPhone SE 2 to be launched in Q1 2018

Apple iPhone 8

There isn't much information available out there but it's speculated the smartphone will still flaunt 4-inch screen and will be manufactured by Wistron in India. The device has been priced to appeal to the vast market that clamors for a bite of the half eaten fruity technology. Many Apple fans still believe that the iPhone SE - with its 4-inch screen - is the flawless size for a smartphone.

Smartphones aren't cheap. A good phone from Samsung or Apple, such as the Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel 2 or the Apple iPhone 8 will set you back hundreds of dollars and a hefty contract.

Recently, there have been reports that Apple is planning to release what we can call, for now, the iPhone SE 2.

The new iPhone SE 2 will be priced at close to $349, nearly half the going price for Apple's latest release, the iPhone X. The SE successor is expected to be priced at $450.

It is rumored that the iPhone SE 2 will feature an upgrade in its processor, as well as some major improvements in the camera department. Ever since Apple started manufacturing the iPhone SE in India, it has gone on to become one of the most popular iPhones in the country.

The company's iPhone SE was last refreshed in March of this year with new memory configurations. There is also a possibility that the handset will boast a dual-lens camera setup.

Like the iPhone X, Walmart is also offering a $300 discount on both the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone 8 provided users chose to join either AT&T or Verizon.

Apple's iPhone SE will cost customers just $100 at Target, a $60 savings on its regular price.
