David Cassidy's actress daughter Katie has vowed never to waste "another minute" with her loved ones following her father's death on Tuesday (November 21).

And the The Flash beauty believes her late parent's final utterance will be a "daily reminder" for her to share her "gratitude" for her loved ones.

She was raised by her her mother and stepfather Richard Benedon, but maintained a relationship with her father.

However, in 2017, PEOPLE reported that the pair had a "falling out", with Cassidy confirming that he was no longer in connection with his daughter. & in the process of mourning I can't help but thank God for the joy that he brought to countless millions of people!

He's survived by Shirley Jones, half-brothers Shaun, Patrick and Ryan; his daughter Katie Cassidy, and son Beau Cassidy.

Cassidy was best known for his role of Keith Partridge on the 1970s sitcom "The Partridge Family", which aired from 1970-1974 and continues in reruns on channels including WPIX sister network Antenna TV.
