Cumbria's Ben Stokes spotted at Heathrow heading to The Ashes in Australia

Root walks off the pitch at the Gabba after being dismissed for 51 on day four of the first Test

Settle down England fans.

Ben Stokes flew out of the country with his cricket gear on Monday night, but the all-rounder headed for New Zealand rather than joining up with the England team in Australia for the Ashes.

Suspended England all-rounder Ben Stokes has been pictured at Heathrow Airport, although his final destination remains a mystery.

Sky Sport UK are reporting that the Christchurch-born player is flying to New Zealand to spend time with family.

Strauss said: "We are waiting for the police to make a charging decision and, until that happens, nothing has changed".

Warriors without Curry, Durant vs. Kings
Northern California's rivals meet for the first time this season when the Sacramento Kings visit the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.

Stokes' travel may fuel speculation he is a chance to play in Perth in the third Ashes test.

After England's woeful performance in the first Test in Brisbane, where they lost by 10 wickets, the tourists need all the help they can get.

"His travel arrangements have not been arranged by the European Central Bank".

Stokes is now awaiting potential charges from Bristol Police, after his infamous late night incident in late September. And until that is finally decided England can not begin their disciplinary process to decide whether he will come to Australia.
