Bond was set at $1,030, though the offense is unspecified. Georgia officials have not yet commented on Patrick's arrest. The previous two were related to marijuana possession, the second of which caused him to be suspended four games this year.

Patrick was previously arrested for possession of marijuana in October and once in 2015.

Georgia linebacker Natrez Patrick was arrested late Saturday ninght, hours after the Bulldogs beat Auburn 28-7 in the SEC championship game. He paid a "small fine" and was released from custody, the station reported.

Authorities said Patrick was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over late Saturday that was driven by Georgia backup wide receiver Jayson Stanley, who was charged with speeding and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana. He totaled three tackles in Saturday's SEC championship game.

Patrick was arrested just last month on the same charge.
