"House Of Cards" Will Return For A Final Season-Without Kevin Spacey

House of Cards resumes production in 2018 Final season will be shorter

Netflix has now confirmed it will begin production of the final season and that Robin Wright will star in the eight episode arc.

He added that the agreement would benefit the 2,000 people in Baltimore who have worked on the show.

Netflix previously announced it "will not be involved with any further production of House Of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey" after initial allegations were made about him by actor Anthony Rapp.

An engineer by profession, she has also tried her hand at modelling and been part of few beauty pageants. Vikas Gupta is the flawless candidate for being a part of the Bigg Boss house, speculates Pinkvilla .

Wright plays Claire Underwood, who started out as a less central figure on the show than her husband. It is not known when the eight-episode series will air. The crew has continued to be paid while the show has been on hiatus. "We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film Gore, which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey", the statement read. It was unclear whether filming would ever resume on the Emmy-winning series. Last week, MRC announced that the hiatus would continue until December 8 amid an ongoing investigation into the Spacey allegations. She has co-starred with Spacey in the last five seasons of the hit political drama.

As the company grows its production of original content, executives are confident it will show viewers the heighten "value" in its service as opposed to airing only outside entertainment. However, production of that sixth season was left in question after additional accusations rolled in, and some fans anxious that Netflix would cancel the show without wrapping it up. While it sounds like Netflix may be most focused on that concept, there are at least two others getting big attention, the sources had claimed.
