LaVar Ball Pulls LiAngelo From UCLA Following Suspension Over China Incident

Adrian Wojnarowski crushed Li Angelo Ball's one-and-done NBA hopes in a brutal tweet

As LaVar Ball weighs options for his middle son, it's safe to say that a jump to the National Basketball Association shouldn't be one of them.

"We learned today of LiAngelo Ball's intention to withdraw from UCLA", Bruins basketball coach Steve Alford said.

In October, Ball pulled his youngest son, LaMelo, out of Chino Hills High School to home-school him claiming, "I don't want no distractions on Melo".

LiAngelo Ball was indefinitely suspended alongside teammates Cody Riley and Jalen Hill after they were accused last month of shoplifting from a Louis Vuitton store next to their hotel in Hangzhou, China.

It appears LiAngelo Ball will not return to the UCLA men's basketball team.

United States defence chief Mattis to visit Pakistan on Dec 4
During the tour, he will re-affirm the US' enduring commitment to partnerships in the Middle East, West Africa and South Asia. Earlier while talking to media, James Mattis said that he is making first trip to Pakistan as secretary of defense.

Asked if LiAngelo agreed with the decision, the elder Ball told the Times, "My boy is loyal to me".

The three haven't been allowed to play, practice or travel with the Bruins since.

The move came four weeks after LiAngelo Ball was arrested in China and charged with shoplifting.

Ball, Hill and Riley publicly apologized for their transgression while reading prepared statements at a campus news conference on November 15.

The Los Angeles Lakers are enforcing a policy that bars media from conducting interviews in a section of the Staples Center where guests of players, including parents, gather after games. They were detained for about a week in China before the case against them was dropped, with President Donald Trump saying he spoke on behalf of the players to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
