Comedian Hannibal Buress arrested for disorderly intoxication

Hannibal Buress had to be physically pushed into a police car when he was arrested after a heated confrontation with cops

Burress, 34, was arrested on Saturday at about 10.30pm, police said.

Buress was booked into jail at 1:57 a.m. Sunday morning and posted bail before 6 a.m., according to the Herald.

"For tresspassing", one of the officers says in the video. Buress, who is handcuffed and leaning against the cops' auto can be seen with two cops standing right in front of him as he repeatedly yells, "Am I under arrest? For what?" Buress yells in the video. "For what?. Explain what I'm detained for", he asks two police officers in the video. What I am detained for?'

Buress' fans on Twitter had many strong reactions to the comedian's arrest, including tweets declaring, "Free Hannibal Buress".

'You know y'all goofy as f**k, ' responds Buress. "No, I'm not getting in your vehicle unless you have probable cause for anything".

According to a police report, officers asked Buress to leave a bar because he was too drunk.

The details of what he specifically did to be charged have yet to be released. Shortly after a fan recorded the performance and uploaded it online, it went viral, leading to Cosby's downfall.

The allegations quickly mounted, until more than sixty accusers came forward.

He's a rising star in the comedy world, and appeared this year in the summer blockbusters "Baywatch" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

The performer lives in Chicago, and it is unclear why he was in Miami at the time of his arrest. The area is home to Art Basel-related events, which draws celebrities from around the world, the newspaper reports.
