Thousands of Jordanians want government to cut ties with Israel

The Jordanian parliament vented its anger over the US decision on Yerushalayim on Sunday with a unanimous vote to review the 1994 peace treaty with Israel, The Times of Israel reported.

The panel will examine all Israeli violations against its commitments under the deal, and compile a detailed report to be forwarded to relevant Arab and worldwide organisations. The Wadi Araba Treaty was signed with Israel in 1994.

Jordan's Lower House on Sunday approved a proposal to re-examine the peace deal between Jordan and Israel following the decision by the U.S.to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
