LiAngelo, LaMelo Ball will skip college to play pro basetball in Lithuania

REPORT: LaMelo & LiAngelo Ball Are Close To Signing Deal In Lithuania

LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball "are in serious discussions" to sign with Lithuanian club BC Prienai, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Jonthan Givony report. LaVar said he would have both LiAngelo and LaMelo bypass college basketball and planned to search out pro jobs overseas. "I want them to go somewhere where they will play them together on the court at the same time".

LaVar Ball pulled 16-year-old LaMelo out of Chino Hills High recently.

The team has agreed on a playing time of 20 to 25 minutes per game in the Baltic League and therefore the Ball Brothers are most likely to see significant playing time in this lesser competitive league than in Vytautas.

The club plays in a 1,700-seat arena; 500 of those seats are reserved for team sponsors and their friends.

Lomachenko: Rigondeaux is Not a Big Win For Me, Not His Weight
Rigondeaux, who moved up two weight classes to face Lomachenko in a battle of two of the world's elite pound-for-pound fighters. Lomachenko (10-1, 8 KOs) earned his seventh straight victory by stoppage and defended his WBO 130-pound title.

Vytautas finished sixth in the Lithuanian league previous year, though they won the less competitive Baltic League.

The news comes after reports that LiAngelo and LaMelo were mulling options to sign internationally, according to Yahoo Sports.

Talent evaluators have been skeptical of LiAngelo's National Basketball Association prospects, while LaMelo is the No. 15 overall prospect in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. In fact, the brothers are both signing with the same club.

The additions of the two Ball brothers will be a major publicity boom for Prienu Vytautas, which has struggled financially in recent years, according to ESPN. LaMelo's erratic style of play could well shock coaches and players alike in the Baltic League. Lonzo and the Lakers will play the Knicks on Tuesday.
