Radio personality sues Gene Simmons for groping her, making sexual advances

Gene Simmons

Gene Simmons has been sued for alleged sexual battery.

The radio and television broadcaster (identified as "Jane Doe") is suing for sexual battery, gender violence, battery and assault.

The broadcaster, identified only as Jane Doe, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court after she interviewed him at his new Rock & Brews restaurant on November 1, the San Bernardino Sun reported.

KISS basist Gene Simmons (L), lead guitarist Tommy Thayer (C) and lead singer Paul Stanley perform during the Summer Festival in Quebec City.

The lawsuit continues to say Simmons "turned standard interview questions into sexual innuendos, which made plaintiff Doe extremely uncomfortable", and then grabbed her hand again, cooed and said she "must use lotion" considering how soft her hand was.

The lawsuit contends Simmons also "forcibly flicked/struck" the accuser in the throat, for which he provided an "incoherent" explanation. I am conferring with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously countering these allegations.

Simmons' reps didn't immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment. "And, I look forward to my day in court where the evidence will prove my innocence", Gene said in a statement (via Us Weekly).

Arsenal: There's only one winner in the Mesut Ozil/Alexis Sanchez debate
Arsenal may not have a chance of winning the league but if they can watch Ozil every week, it is a decent consolation. At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea beat Southampton 1-0 to stay 14 points behind City and draw level on points with United.

News of the lawsuit arrives one month after Simmons was reportedly banned from Fox News for acting like a creepy jerk.

The defendant says following that action, she did her best to stop the interview, but Gene tried to keep going.

The unidentified woman says that she interviewed Simmons as part of the opening of Rock & Brews in San Bernardino.

"She filed suit because she wanted to make a strong statement that this behavior is unacceptable and she wants to see an end to this type of behavior", lawyer Willie W. Williams said.

Afterward, both Simmons and the interviewer posed with others for a group photo.

Simmons has denied these allegations.
