Overseas Tip Leads Police To Child's Body

Cleveland police say officers first started investigating Jordan's disappearance and alleged murder Monday, Dec. 18, after receiving a tip from Pakistan from the brother of Larissa's boyfriend, Scott Rodriguez.

Cleveland police have officially charged Larissa Rodriguez in the death of her 5-year-old son. Cleveland police have said Jordan died September 22.

The boy's mother, Larissa Maria Rodriguez has reportedly been taken into custody and will be charged with murder and felonious assault on Thursday. Police have not said if the body is that of the boy the caller referenced, but police took into custody a woman at the home whose son is unaccounted for, reports the station.

When the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner dug the remains up, they found the body showed multiple signs of abuse, including broken ribs, the court records say. According to the police report, she referred to Jordan's father as a "donor" who she met on Facebook. Larissa's 5-year-old son, Jordan, was a special-needs child.

When they returned the next day, they found the human remains, which are believed to be Jordan's remains, buried in the backyard.

Hallmarks' of Iran, Yemen Houthi rebels missile fired at Riyadh
The Saudi-led Arab coalition fighting in Yemen said on Wednesday it would open the Houthi-controlled port it had blockaded. Tehran has denied allegations that it has supplied weapons to the Houthis.

When police arrived at Rodriguez's house in Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday, Rodriguez stood by her story that her child was alive and in Texas, but said she didn't have contact information for his father, ABC15 wrote.

The home was infested with rats and cockroaches, court records say.

The caller told police that around two months ago the stepfather and the boy's mother found the child unresponsive and buried him together in the backyard of their home on Cleveland's west side. A man had called to say that his brother, Christopher Rodriguez, confessed to burying the child with Larissa, his girlfriend.

The deceased child has two incarcerated parents. There were four children aged 1 to 12 inside, with one of those kids eating a sandwich filled with cockroaches. According to documents from children and family services, a neglect complaint was filed four days after the child was born on April 3, 2003. Christopher was already being held at the Medina County Jail, serving a six-month sentence for failing to pay child support.
