Snapchat now has a 2017 in review memories feature

The "Stories Everywhere" video product now in development-first reported by Cheddar on Wednesday-would be a way for the company to break out of its insular world and impact the larger digital media landscape.

What do you think of Snapchat's new Stories Everywhere feature?

While Stories Anywhere is still in the early developmental stages, word is that Snap wants to start publishing its content on the web, among other places outside of its app.

To end the closed nature of its platform, Snapchat is creating a new distribution method called Stories Everywhere, which would allow its content to be embedded on other platforms and pages.

'Real Housewives' star 'The Countess' arrested in Palm Beach
Her ex-husband is now in Palm Beach for Christmas but has made no comment about her arrest . "I was fine", she said . Eventually, Luann exited the bathroom, attacked a cop, was arrested, and the rest is history.

The "Stories Everywhere" feature, which Snapchat hope will provide for more user growth, is reportedly being developed with the aim of being released next year. This would surely open a way for Snapchat to make money through licensing. One of Chopra's key responsibilities would be to figure out how Snapchat's user-generated content could be distributed on the web and elsewhere says Cheddar.

Furthermore, the company may allow other apps to access its feeds of videos generated by users, from breaking news to sports games.

The new video plans come amid a wider shake-up, according to Cheddar, who reports that Snapchat has "restructured" its content division under Nick Bell, VP of content. To make up for it, Snap Inc is expected to redesign the Snapchat app.

Recently, Snap's CEO Evan Spiegel regretted that his social media site did not focus on Android-based smartphones. This is the first time that Snapchat has offered such a feature. Instagram Stories which is just a year old has lapped up close to 300 million active users. Unfortunately, its stagnant user growth is not desirable for investors. Snap is a public company.
