Telegram for Android gets new update with Multiple accounts feature

Telegram is finally introducing the support for managing multiple accounts through its official app. Users can add up to 3 accounts with three different numbers on the Telegram app which really means that it could be a nightmare managing notifications for three accounts at the same time. A previous update rolled out to Telegram on Android earlier in the month, but we are most excited about the Telegram 4.7 update. The biggest new feature to hit is the support for multiple accounts, which is a feature people have been asking for now for a while.

WHAT'S NEW Multiple accounts and "Swipe to reply" added in version 4.7: - Quickly switch between different Telegram accounts if you use multiple phone numbers.

You are able to easily switch between them from the side menu of the app, but Telegram will send notifications for all of them regardless of which one is now active. Now users can simply swipe left on a message to reply in a chat. The latest 4.7 version is available for download on Google Play Store for Android users and App Store for iOS users. Switching between these accounts have also been made easier as the notifications have been programmed to show which account should be checked for a new message.

Opposition, TDP want select panel to look at triple talaq Bill
Consequently, despite many smaller parties seeking a standing committee scrutiny, the bill had a smooth sail in the Lower House. The bill apart from outlawing triple talaq OR talaq-e-biddat also makes it a punishable offence, according to its provisions.

This latest update also brings quick replies to the app (on both platforms). Do you think that the new quick-reply feature is a step in the right direction for the Telegram app.

Well, that's all that Telegram has included in its 4.7 update.

The update is live right now on the Play Store.
