Belieb it: Justin's getting his own museum exhibit

Justinbieber

Put on by his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, "Steps to Stardom" will trace the singer's roots from aspiring young musician, into the heavyweight superstar he has since become.

That's right, fans who were disappointed by the cancellation of the singing sensation's "Purpose World Tour" previous year, can instead travel to his childhood hometown to peruse an array of memorabilia from before the Biebs hit the big time.

It was a recent sit-down in a Stratford Tim Hortons with the mega-star that sealed the deal, says John Kastner, general manager of the Stratford Perth Museum.

The exhibition is given its name after Bieber's earliest gigs on the steps of The Avalon theatre.

His grandparents, Diane and Bruce Dale have collected a selection of items that show his childhood days and rise to fame. And with the help of his grandparents, the museum organizers were able to collect nearly 125 personal items from his childhood and career.

Raiders to give Gruden longest contract in history
The 54-year-old native of Sandusky, OH has been out of the coaching ranks since the conclusion of the 2008 season. The Oakland Raiders never really recovered from the decision to trade Jon Gruden to Tampa Bay 16 years ago.

In 2010, Stratford's tourism board unveiled a downloadable "Bieber-iffic Map" highlighting 24 locations linked to the singer. For more information visit the website for the Stratford Perth Museum here.

Kastner, who had already mulled over the idea of including Bieber in the musuem, basically got the go-ahead from a politician, and thus felt justified in creating a "history of the Biebz" exhibit, despite any criticism he or the musuem may receive. The museum also notes they have a pair of running shoes in the exhibit.

Even if not everyone is ready to catch Bieber fever, he hopes they'll understand why the museum thinks this exhibit makes sense.

"You (must) tell this story if we're going to be relevant and we're going to be modern", Kastner said.
