David Luiz is being linked with a shock move to Arsenal

Wenger was unhappy with Mike Dean's decision to give West Bromwich Albion a penalty during the closing stages of the Premier League fixture between the two sides on New Year's Eve, leading to an exchange with the official.

Wenger accepted he used abusive and improper language and behaviour in the match officials' changing room after Sunday's 1-1 draw at West Brom and has been fined £40,000 over comments he made.

Wenger has separately also been asked for his observations for comments made both before and after Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Wednesday night, for which he has until Tuesday 9 January to respond, and could face further punishment.

"He was also fined 40,000 pounds ($54,277)".

The Arsenal manager will now have to watch on from the stands as the Gunners travel to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Mavericks coach destroys ESPN 'disgrace' over LaVar Ball
Part of that partnership is - the coaches do a lot of things to help them with access, interview and all those kinds of things. And in exchange for that they should back up the coaches.

He is not backing down.

"From what I've heard and seen in tunnels and dressing rooms down the years, I'm surprised and shocked to be charged", Wenger, who did not request a personal hearing to the first charge, said in a press conference this morning, per The Telegraph.

"I have nothing to change in that".

Regarding the penalty awarded for Héctor Bellerín's challenge on Hazard, he said: "I think it was a yellow card for Hazard".

When it was pointed out to Wenger that Jack Wilshere was accused of diving in the same match, he replied: "Maybe he did, but why should that change my opinion on the penalty?"
