BIG FORMAT GAMING DISPLAYS with NVIDIA G-SYNC™ and SHIELD™ BUILT

Asus is among the first OEMs to offer a BFGD announcing the ROG Swift PG65

At its annual CES keynote tonight, Nvidia unveiled 65-inch 4K 120Hz HDR screens aimed at gamers called "big format gaming displays".

Additionally, the 4K HDR display features a full-array direct backlight, 1,000-nit peak luminance and DCI-P3 color gamut for the ultimate in visual quality. Start with a 65-inch 4K panel, but then add in a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support.

Bigger = better, which is especially true of gaming. Powered by NVIDIA G-SYNC™, it's a whole new way for enthusiast gamers to take on today's top titles. What's more, BFGDs have ultra-low input latency, just like a PC gaming monitor, for the most fluid and responsive big screen gaming experience.

Natalie Portman Thanked Police Officers For Wearing Black
While Natalie's comment had the internet buzzing, there were others who did not see it coming. And for now, at the 2018 Golden Globes , it'd be nice to live in an ideal world.

Nvidia wants to deliver the "World's First Giant Screen PC Gaming Experience" with these BFGDs and provide high performance and instant response times in form factors beyond the traditional desktop display.

If it was April Fool's Day I might be questioning this announcement, but Asus, Acer, and HP are bringing these BFGDs - that DOOM reference is definitely not accidental - to market in the summer. And of course, this also holds true for 48 FPS High Frame Rate content, 23.976 FPS U.S. broadcast television shows, and the framerate of any other media you access.

Availability and Pricing BFGDs are available for hands-on demos at CES at the NVIDIA gaming suite and ASUS ROG showcase room at the Wynn Las Vegas by appointment only, and in the HP booth at the Pepcom and Showstoppers press events on Monday and Tuesday evening, respectively. But it's the Nvidia Shield integration that also makes for a unique proposition. That's when the partners will announce pricing, too, though I don't expect you'll see these displays in the bargain bin anytime soon.
