Iran warns world to prepare for U.S. nuke deal withdrawal

The warning came during Salehi's phone conversation with the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) director general, Yukiya Amano Monday.

"We support the rights of Iranian citizens to free speech and peaceful protest and we condemn the use of force against peaceful demonstrations", the letter said.

"The most important lesson to be taught [from reaching the nuclear deal] is that we can be hopeful of solving complicated problems through diplomatic dialogues", he said.

In October 2017, Trump, who has repeatedly threatened to halt the Iranian nuclear deal, said that his administration had decided not to certify that Iran was in compliance with the accord.

"We in Iran are prepared for any scenario". "Our region will not turn into a safer region without the nuclear deal", the deputy FM cautioned, as cited by Fars.

Iranian Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi warned that the country may reconsider its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over USA refusal to implement the Iranian nuclear deal, local media reported on Monday.

Donald Trump notoriously dubbed the Iranian nuclear agreement "the worst deal ever" and is considering Washington's possible withdrawal from the pact.

The Guardian reported that Trump will not sign a 180-day waiver that has previously postponed the sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) since 2013.

The IAEA has repeatedly confirmed Iran's full compliance with the worldwide agreement, saying Tehran has not been enriching uranium above the prescribed levels.

The European Union will invite Iran's foreign minister for talks about the recent anti-government protests that have hit the country, Germany's Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said on Sunday.
