Missing Sports Reporter Courtney Roland Found 'Unharmed': Texas Police

Aggie Football reporter goes missing in Houston area

Her white Jeep was found overnight in a parking garage close to the shopping center, police said.

Roland went missing after covering a football camp on Saturday in Houston, according to her family. Then a passer-by saw Roland walking beneath an overpass and recognized her from media reports.

Police said that she was unaware that she had been reported missing. The man reportedly followed her home, but drove off when she got out of the vehicle.

She was an intern in the sports department at KPRC2 back in 2010.

According to one post, she left the camp in an Uber and returned home, before later leaving again to go to Walgreens, a USA supermarket.

Her website also said Roland was "selected to represent Spring, Texas in the Miss Texas Teen USA Pageant", and has worked as a model.

The social media post continues with an ominous detail, saying, "The last communication was via text at 12:30 a.m. 1/7/18".

She had texted her roommate that a suspicious man in a blue truck was following her, according to Houston-based KPRC. "I am buying an iPad", it read.

Vara should meet soon thereafter with Roland, however she didn't appear.

Officers began searching for her over the weekend after family members say she texted her roommate about a suspicious man following her. PLEASE SHARE and reach out to any of us or missing persons at 832-394-1840. And I know Courtney would be praying for you, because that's the way she was.

They discovered her cellphone and different assets inside, cops stated, while her satchel was found at a close-by business.
