Dylan Farrow's powerful 'Time's Up' statement against Woody Allen

Greta Gerwig said she regrets working with Woody Allen

Golden Globe victor Greta Gerwig may have worn black in support of the Time's Up initiative, but that didn't mean she was prepared to discuss past sexual misconduct allegations made against Woody Allen, with whom she worked on "To Rome With Love".

Ellen Pompeo, of Grey's Anatomy fame, is calling out Hollywood director Woody Allen for, among other things, his reported obsession with teenage girls.

Following the fashion blackout and Time's Up movement at this year's Golden Globes, Mia Farrow's daughter, Dylan, has made a powerful statement against alleged "predator" Woody Allen.

She also specifically called out some of those actors who don't just refuse to denounce Allen, but continue to actively praise him. That is an admirable and worthwhile objective, I hope these women change the world. "I struggle to understand how a woman who believes Woody Allen is "empowering to women" can claim the role as an advocate for women suffering from sexual harassment", she told Buzzfeed about Lively.

Representatives for Timberlake didn't respond to a request for comment from BuzzFeed News, or a request for further comment from Business Insider. The project, inspired by the recent #MeToo movement, aims to combat sexual misconduct in all workplaces.

The Time's Up initiative made a strong impression at the 2018 Golden Globes to advocate against sexual harassment and abuse.

Farrow called out Timberlake, who supports the Time's Up initiative and starred in Allen's 2017 film "Wonder Wheel". Golden Globes nominees Emma Stone, Sam Rockwell - who won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, a film on the aftermath of sexual violence - and Hugh Jackman have been in Woody Allen movies and Timothee Chalamet is in his new movie, A Rainy Day In New York, releasing this year. 'Four years ago I decided enough was enough and wrote an open letter detailing the abuse I sustained at the hands of Woody Allen'. The Hollywood celebrities, she claimed, were complicit in ignoring the sexual assault allegations against the renowned director.

In an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in November, Timberlake said "working with Woody Allen was like a dream come true".

"I haven't gone through his personal journals and I knew that... shocked the people that work with this man #ambition is [blind]", she wrote on Twitter.
