The Life Foundation's Five Symbiotes Hinted At Venom's First Look Photo

Venom Movie Life Foundation Symbiotes Offspring

Over the live satellite feed from the Venom sets in Atlanta, Fleisher added: "I can promise bad ass action, Venom's dark humour and an absolutely stunning performance by Tom Hardy..." IGN got its hands on a still of Star Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Venom by night, in full reporter mode.

IGN also unveiled the first official still of Tom Hardy from Venom today. Eagle-eyed fans noted that the notebook had questions such as how Life Foundation tests its pharmaceuticals and the allegations that the empire is known for in the comic. Whether or not you've read the comics, you can probably intuit that the answers to those questions won't be good.

In Spider-Man lore, Brock is a disgraced journalist who becomes host to an alien Symbiote that bonds with him, transforming him into Venom, the wildly popular supervillain turned, in more recent decades, antihero.

Sony Pictures' Venom is apparently moving right along in production, despite the fact that it's neither a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe nor connected to Sony's current Spider-Man franchise.

So will the movie see Venom as an existing symbiote that the Life Foundation uses as the basis for its own horrifying monsters?

Prince William's gushing confession about Prince Harry
Given that Prince Harry's fiancée has been married once before, her first wedding dress could provide another clue to her bridal style .

Now confirmed by Ruben Fleishcher, the film will be looking to those arcs when telling their story. "But our story is primarily based on the "Lethal Protector" and the "Planet of the Symbiotes" book".

The film also stars Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, and Jenny Slate.

Venom is scheduled to open in theaters on October 5, 2018.

It is believed that the film will be inspired by the "Lethal Protector" storyline, which sees Venom going up against the Life Foundation, an organization interested in experimenting on the Venom symbiote.
