Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: 'No change in Naby Keita agreement'

The Reds had originally agreed to sign the midfielder at the end of the season for a figure that could eventually rise to £66million - depending on whether his club, RB Leipzig, qualify for the Champions League again.

The Reds agreed a deal last summer to sign the Guinea global, which will not officially go through until the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

The Brazilian midfielder was one of the most important players of the English team, and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp wants a luxury substitute in this winter market. Leipzig had initially taken a hard stance to the move, denying that they had any need to sell him.

But Rangnick says neither Keita - who scored and starred in Leipzig's 3-1 defeat of Schalke on Sunday (AEDT) - nor Liverpool have made any such requests.

CM directs police to arrest Zainab's killer
The girl was on her way to a Quran recital when a man approached her, grabbed her by the hand and led her away. She was allegedly abducted after this. "I am a mother", she said, at the start of the show.

Philippe Coutinho's signing with Barcelona has caused many moves in Liverpool.

Klopp has already acquired the £75m services of Virgil van Dijk this month but may be tempted to bring in Keita to strengthen his midfield options.

Want news and features on the Reds on your Facebook timeline? "He is a player of Leipzig, that is what I know, and in the summer here, that is what I know as well".

More than anything else, bringing the Keita deal forward would appease fans anxious allowing Coutinho to leave halfway through the season could disrupt the quest for a top-four spot and progression deep into the Champions League.
