Turan Joins Istanbul Basaksehir From Barcelona On Loan Deal

Arda Turan joined Barcelona in 2015 after four successful seasons with Atletico Madrid

Turan was welcomed by around a hundred supporters wearing orange scarves at Istanbul Ataturk airport on Saturday evening and holding "Welcome Arda Turan" signs.

Barcelona have confirmed that Arda Turan is set to leave the club and join Istanbul Basaksehir on a two-and-a-half year loan deal. A 34 million pound switch followed, which worked for none of involved. The arrival of Valverde meant that it was the end of his Barca career.

However, now a two and a half year loan deal has been agreed with Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir with them agreeing to pay the entirety of his wages.

However, the 100-time capped Turkish worldwide has since failed to make a single appearance for the Blaugrana to this point in the current campaign, leading to increasing speculation that Turan would finally be set for a move away from the Camp Nou this month.

TPS ending for Salvadorans; families at risk
The country has received millions of dollars in aid for the recovery and rebuilt schools, homes and hospitals, the official said. The country, however, has one of the world's highest murder rates and gang violence is rampant.

This week, the Turkish Super Lig leaders stated that a move for Arda was close to being finalised.

During his time at Camp Nou, Arda won medals in La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana, but failed to hit the same high standards he produced at Atléti, making just 55 appearances across two-and-a-half seasons.

As such the Turk leaves after completing a clean sweep of domestic trophies.

Although Turan moved from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona in the summer of 2015, he made his debut in January 2016 due to a Federation Internationale de Football Association transfer ban on the Catalan side.
