'Jumanji' remains king of the cinema jungle

Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle

According to Variety, this holiday weekend box office gross is up a cool $10 during the same time period past year, which can exclusively be attributed to the unstoppable force that is Jumanji.

An unspectacular week at the box office led Sony's "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" back to No. 1. Landing at No. 2 was Steven Spielberg's awards-season hopeful "The Post". The movie features Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks as publisher Katharine Graham and executive editor Ben Bradlee.

Fox is also getting great word of mouth for "The Greatest Showman", which continues to hang tough in the top five with a $15 million four-day weekend. While such films are often low-revenue, art-house features, a savvy release strategy can boost public interest and tickets sales.

Micromax Bharat GO to debut with Android Oreo Go Edition this month
Bharat is the company's existing series of devices focused on lower-tier of the market and for first-time smartphone buyers. Android Oreo (Go edition) aka Android Go is a trimmed down version of Android Oreo aimed at low-priced smartphones.

"Jumanji" has been the key factor in keeping overall business for the four days solid in the $197 million to $200 million range, up at least $10 million from the 2017 total. That's quite impressive, given the movie had a reported budget of $90 million. But Fox added more than 2,000 new locations this weekend. The film split critics, with 54 percent delivering positive reviews. The Liam Neeson-fronted action thriller topped expectations, opening to an estimated $13.5 million at No. 3.

It's a big shame for not only Warner Bros. but also DCEU that its first ever huge, assembled team of superheroes, Justice League, has received such a devastating response from not only the critics, but also from the fans, and due to which, the box-office run of "JL" had been nothing less than a bad nightmare! PADDINGTON is based on the best-selling and internationally adored series of children's stories by British author Michael Bond, which have sold more than 35 million copies worldwide, been translated into over 40 languages and captured the imagination of children and adults around the globe.
