Scribblenauts Showdown Announced For Release This March

Up to four players can pick from series protagonist Maxwell, as well as other recurring and new characters, to battle it out in over twenty-five word-based minigames in Showdown Mode. This latest entry brings a wealth of new features, including fresh social elements and family friendly action. Interactive Entertainment announced today (January 16) that a new game is coming.

There's also a Versus mode that supports one to two players, where minigames are the focus. Sounds like it'll play pretty much the same as you remember it, just with the option for a second player. In December of past year, the game had been rated by Taiwan's video game rating boards, and it's recently been followed by the ESRB rating the game for the Nintendo Switch alongside the Xbox One & PlayStation 4, all but confirming the title.

One of Scribblenauts' fan-favorite modes, Sandbox, makes its return in Showdown, allowing up to two players to complete different objectives in eight new levels.
