Steelers will not retain offensive coordinator Todd Haley

Following a flooring 45-42 defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 14 in the A.F.C.

The Pittsburgh Steelers parted ways with offensive coordinator Todd Haley on Wednesday, opting not to renew his contract for a seventh season.

Mike Tomlin has made a decision regarding whether or not Todd Haley and Ben Roethlisberger can coexist and it appears Tomlin has come to the conclusion that it cannot happen.

Haley and Roethlisberger downplayed any discord between the two, though Haley swapped places with Fichtner in the middle of the season, moving from the sideline to the coach's box.

Fichtner's previous experience as offensive coordinator came at the collegiate level, when he served in the role at Memphis from 2001-06. "Tomlin quickly obliged, and the Steelers have been operating in that fashion since last month, sources said".

After flirting with the idea of retirement past year, Mann came back in hopes of ending his career with a Super Bowl victory, a title his receivers were keen to win for him.

Apple's first comedy series to star Kristen Wiig
It stars Octavia Spencer and is based on a Kathleen Barber novel about a woman whose father's murder is explored in a hit podcast. It will be a 10-episode series which will mark Wiig's return to the small screen after she left Saturday Night Live in 2012.

I really appreciate the Steelers organization, the entire Rooney family, and Coach (Mike) Tomlin for getting me out of retirement the first time to finish up here.

For a team as talented as the Steelers, the focus needs to be on the task at hand, week-in and week-out.

The goal of making that change was to limit the number of shots Roethlisberger took and make him more of a cerebral quarterback. Star offensive playmakers Le'Veon Bell, left, and Antonio Brown celebrate during a game at Heinz Field.

The other name to keep an eye on? Neither have any coordinator experience, but with Munchak turning down a second interview with the Arizona Cardinals, it was easy to believe the Steelers were aiming for some stability with the staff. He has a solid rapport with Roethlisberger and the transition would likely be very easy for a team built to win now. Divisional Round following a 13-3 season should fuel the rest of the team, as well as Ryan Shazier's continued recovery from a spinal injury suffered on December 4 against Cincinnati. As such, Haley had to pay the price after a shocking loss to the Jaguars.

But the Steelers have had too many postseason shortcomings.
