Overwatch's 'Year Of The Dog' Lunar Event Kicks Off February 8

"Lunar New Year returns to Overwatch with the Year of the Dog on Thursday, February 8", a Blizzard post explains.

Traditional foods served during the meal celebrating the start of the Chinese lunar calendar - falling this year on February 16 - won't weigh you down like Thanksgiving dinner, but they are heavy with symbolic significance. A capture the flag mode also arrived in Overwatch with the celebratory event.

Blizzard said it will share more information on what's coming in the Year of the Dog "soon", but we can probably get a good idea of what's in store by looking at what happened last year.

Outside of a brief trailer released on Twitter, little else is known about the Chinese New Year event. The Chinese zodiac moves in a 12-year cycle, and those born in 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006 and 2018 are known as born in the "Year of the Dog". It was featured in last year's rooster Lunar New Year, and it's likely content will carry over into next week's event. "Lunar New Year returns February 8".

Bitcoin - What Goes Up Must Come Down
And if a payment solution can help the congestion, bitcoin may once again become an effective payment network, Moskowitz said. Ethereum was last down 13.2 per cent, at US$888.22, while Ripple last traded at 83 USA cents, down 14.7 per cent.

It's not clear what exactly new features will be on offer for Overwatch players, but Blizzard has teased some small details. Personally I'm hoping they surprise us with a new game mode, but I'll be glad to see a repeat of new skins, emotes and sprays.

If you don't find any in loot boxes, you can also purchase the items directly by visiting the Hero Gallery.

"With this change he can still dish out similar damage but he must now be more accurate with his tosses".
