"I found that when I analyzed the spectrum of them saying her name, the spectrums were significantly quieter in the range of 3000hz to 6000hz". Amazon is expected to announce its final decision in 2018.

"When multiple devices start waking up simultaneously from a broadcast event, similar audio is streaming to Alexa's cloud services".

Amazon acknowledges that the dynamic fingerprinting isn't ideal, but up to 80% to 90% of devices won't respond to the broadcasts thanks to the dynamic creation of the fingerprints.

Texas Monthly goes on to use the appearance of country music and peacocks as further evidence that Amazon is favoring Austin: "This ad, in our estimation, bodes poorly for the mayors of nineteen other cities in the running for Amazon's HQ2".
