Patchell under fire as Jones ramps up pre-match hype

Gareth Davies interception try set the ball rolling for Wales when they pummelled Scotland

England have made two changes to their side as they prepare to welcome Wales to Twickenham for Saturday's crunch NatWest Six Nations clash.

Jones is fully aware of how Wales will want to play and has targeted Rhys Patchell as a threat, calling him out in this afternoon's press conference.

Wales were the last team to beat England in a Six Nations Test match at Twickenham, winning 19-12 six years ago when centre Scott Williams scored a try five minutes from time.

"It's an opportunity for him to play well for the team to win, that's the opportunity for him - he understands that - he's a great team man, works hard on and off the field for the team regardless of whether he's starting or finishing", Jones said.

"We'll find out on Saturday".

"He (Patchell) is surrounded by a number of players from his (Scarlets) region and that cohesion it brings, that familiarity, will hopefully stand up under the pressure of worldwide rugby".

And although the roles they played in Auckland that day have been reversed, something remains unchanged for Care a decade on: his self-belief, and undeniable love for the game. He's a young guy, he's inexperienced and he's their third choice 10.

Davies will seek out'a little confidence boost by revisiting the World Cup win against England

Davies got the ball rolling with the opening try - his 10th in 28 internationals - and further scores followed from Leigh Halfpenny (2) and Steff Evans for a first Welsh four-try bonus in the championship.

"They played really well against Scotland but it's going to be different on Saturday - they had no expectation on them last Saturday but this week they come full of expectation".

"Now they have expectation, and they have to cope with that".

Joseph comes in for Ben Te'o and was one of two changes from the England team that opened the Six Nations with a 46-15 win against Italy.

With such a fast and furious backline it can't be expected that Wales will do anything different than the Scottish game. He's got plenty of big-match experience, he knows how to handle interesting moments in games. "And in my experience with players in their second game back from a long injury, it's always the most hard game".

"If they continue to do that then it will cause England a few problems", Land Rover ambassador Robinson told Omnisport.

Warren Gatland is backing Eddie Jones to succeed him as the next British and Irish Lions coach and expects he will bring back a clean sweep from their three-Test tour of SA in 2021. "He's confident. They're confident".
