The update weighs 487MB for those who are already on the Oreo beta version. The blog also stated: "As promised by Samsung, beta testers are first in line, with regular users on Nougat expected to get the update after 24 hours". The revelation comes from SamMobile following the Oreo rollout to the aforementioned devices in Germany earlier today.

Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners have been waiting for the Android Oreo update to arrive, and now it looks like it's finally happening.

According to some reports, the next Samsung devices that will receive the update are the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, as well as Galaxy A5 and A3 (2017) and Galaxy S3. If it is available, a manual download option will pop up. It has not been confirmed as to how many people received this update and what is the protocol from here on. Actually, Samsung seemingly things those upgrades are so important that the company plans to impose an additional $100 for each phone in contrast to the launch prices of previous year's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

Samsung has just ended the Oreo Beta testing program a couple of weeks ago on January 15th.

We also know that Samsung Galaxy S8 still has to receive the final Oreo version, and this should happen really soon.

We can assume that the same stable Android 8.0 Oreo update will be rolled out to other regions in a couple of days.
