Apple finally releases live News section for Apple TV

The Olympics coverage section is found within the "For You" tab of Apple News.

According to 9to5Mac, the update provides users with instant live news access from outlets including CBS News, CNN, Fox News, Cheddar, CNBC, and Bloomberg.

Besides now being able to watch live news broadcasts, people can also use the Apple TV app to watch shows or movies they bought or rented via iTunes, or watch certain sports events via a Sports category that features some ESPN broadcasts. The live feeds are immediately recognizable thanks to a "Live" flag on the video thumbnail.

Chuck Schumer Called For Military Parade In 2014
She says Trump wants the Pentagon to "explore a celebration" that would allow Americans to show appreciation for the military. The context of Trump's parade will make it little more than an exercise in authoritarianism and wastefulness.

And if you don't have the app yet, your device is going to ask you if you want to download the app from the App Store.

Both the News and the Sports sections were showcased alongside the unveiling of the Apple TV 4K and the two sections work to support each other. Those with an Apple TV have the benefit of using Siri to retrieve news content in the same way Alexa can on a newer Fire TV device. Be sure to grab those updates before frantically navigating around your TV app. This eliminates the annoying part of ditching cable in that you don't have to use a generic universal search tool or manually sort through various provider apps.
