Harvey Weinstein hit with sexual misconduct civil lawsuit by NY AG

Not Released

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman filed a lawsuit Sunday against The Weinstein Company (TWC), Harvey Weinstein and Bob Weinstein for alleged state civil rights violations.

"As alleged in our complaint, The Weinstein Company repeatedly broke NY law by failing to protect its employees from pervasive sexual harassment, intimidation and discrimination", said Schneiderman".

"Female Weinstein employees are essentially used to facilitate his sexual conquests of vulnerable women who hope he will get them work", one female executive said, according to the suit.

Filed in New York County Supreme Court, the suit includes new and extensive accusations about longtime company CEO Harvey Weinstein's mistreatment of employees.

Last month an investment group began exclusive negotiations for the company's assets.

Everton boss Allardyce surprised Schneiderlin being booed
But Hodgson felt his team had a strong chance of picking up points as they went into the break level. "Surprised, very surprised. The former England boss started his tenure at Everton in brilliant fashion and didn't lose a match until his 7th game in charge.

The suit charges that the human resources department at the Weinstein Company was completely corrupt. Movie mogul Harvey Weinisten left his company amid allegations of sexual misconduct - which he has denied.

NY prosecutors also allege that, at Weinstein's direction, the company employed one group of female employees whose primary job it was to accompany Weinstein to events and to facilitate sexual conquests.

The Met Police are now investigating nine different accusations from women against Weinstein.

The investigation included interviews with multiple company employees, executives and victims of the alleged sexual misconduct.

A Weinstein attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
