Falcon Heavy Tesla Carries Science Fiction Books

Falcon Heavy Launch mission a success? Flat Earth Community thinks it as a hoax by SpaceX

The SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket made its successful first flight on February 6 after years of development.

Musk did share one tantalizing tidbit about future Falcon Heavy booster landings: SpaceX is building a third drone ship for offshore rocket landings. And with the return of two of the Falcon Heavy's reusable boosters, the company is paving the way for cheap and reliable space travel. The launch did not only carry the Tesla Roadster, but it will also boost Elon Musk's space business. The SpaceX founder and CEO took to the social networking site to answer questions and discuss his latest feat, the launch of the Falcon Heavy, and ended up promising to eat his hat.

After the Falcon Heavy launch, from Kennedy Space Center, the rocket's the rocket's center core missed the Of Course I Still Love You ship by about 300 feet, but the force created by its 300 miles per hour water impact damaged the ship's two engines. According to Musk, the core didn't have enough ignition fluid to light the two outer engines of the booster for its final approach to the ship. After liftoff, the rocket's two side boosters touched down simultaneously on land, eliciting cheers and applause from the crowd of SpaceX employees gathered in the company's Hawthorne headquarters, as seen on the launch livestream. All three drones are named after spacecraft featured in Scottish author Iain M. Banks' Culture novels, notes the report.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan on the main difference between Wenger & Mourinho
A convincing win against big-six opposition will add weight to the claim that Arsenal have turned the tide. Mkhitaryan should also benefit from playing in a team that probes opponents with passing.

During the minutes leading up to the launch of the Falcon Heavy, SpaceX briefly touched on the Roadster's extra payload, though very little was said about the storage device's contents. Those drone ships are called "Of Course I Still Love You" and "Just Read The Instructions". Even the founder and CEO of SpaceX felt surreal that the Falcon Heavy's launch went nearly flawless and without any glitches.

Once fully operational, the Falcon Heavy would be capable of carrying payloads as heavy as 119,000 pounds to low-Earth orbit or almost double the capacity of its competitor Delta IV Heavy that can lift more than 62,000 pounds.

The success gives SpaceX momentum to begin developing even larger rockets, which could help fulfill Musk's dream of sending people to Mars.
