Ryan Mason could return to Tottenham Hotspur after forced retirement

Tottenham striker Kane sends heartfelt message to Ryan Mason after early retirement

He believes that Mason has "an wonderful football brain".

Ryan Mason has been hailed as an "inspiration" by Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech after announcing his retirement from professional football. He posted on Instagram yesterday that he had "no option but to retire" from football on the advice of his doctor. The former Tottenham player was taken to hospital and operated on immediately.

Curtis Davies, Robert Snodgrass, Kamil Grosicki and David Meyler led the tributes on social media as Mason's former club, Tottenham Hotspur, also tweeted their support along with the Football Association and Chelsea, who Hull face this Friday in the FA Cup.

'It is very sad news but it opens up a massive future [for him].

"Don't worry Ryan, you're going to be a successful person outside of the club."
He will always be a special player for me because he represents the change in all the processes when we arrived at Tottenham.

"I've sought about ten specialists' advice, but the risk was too high".

'High Degree of Confidence' Daesh Leader Baghdadi Wounded in Airstrike
In recent years, there have been endless conflicting reports about Baghdadi's whereabouts and about whether he is even alive. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said in late July he assumes that Baghdadi is still alive .

"Of course the door is open to help him; myself, the coaching staff and the club, because we love him and all his family".

He made a dramatic contribution to the start of Mauricio Pochettino's reign - coming off the bench to hit a long-range equaliser when Spurs were trailing Nottingham Forest in the League Cup in 2014. It's why Pochettino plucked him out of the academy and made him an important part of Spurs' midfield in the first couple of years of his tenure.

"It was hard for him in the beginning because he struggled to cope with the training sessions, because it was very tough". I retired when I was almost 40 and then there are some people that have injuries in their early 20s and are never able to play again.

The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Spurs and went on to make 69 Premier League appearances for the club, and he wants to give back by helping coach the next generation of future stars.

Then, in the first game we played against Seattle, he understood everything.

Ryan Mason has called time on his football career, following his head injury previous year, and it seems that the outpouring of support for the player isn't set to end any time soon.
