Mysterious White Powder Also Sent to Obama

Police are investigating the origins of an envelope containing suspicious white powder sent to former President Barack Obama's Washington, D.C. office.

The incident was reported Tuesday around 12:30 p.m.at 1250 24th Street in Northwest D.C.in the West End neighborhood. And counter-terror police were deployed to the Houses of Parliament this morning after a package of white powder reportedly sent to Amber Rudd's office sparked a security alert.

The building is owned and the headquarters for the non-profit World Wildlife Fund. It had no return address.

The substance was quickly cleared from the building and was found to be nonhazardous. The incident called for FBI, Secret Service, police, and fire crews to rush to the scene. At this time, Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Edward Smith believes the white substance is baby powder. Obama and his family live nearby.
