Indian Army Killed 20 Pakistan Soldiers in Retaliatory Firing This Year

Days after 10 Indian soldiers were killed in two separate strikes from the Pakistan Army and Pak-backed terrorists, the Indian Army is understood to have launched a massive fire-assault on Pakistani posts and terror camps across the disputed boundary between the two countries.

"The unremittingly hostile, anti-Pakistan stance by the current Indian government has drastically reduced the space for any advocacy of peace", he said.

The attack resulted in killing of five Indian soldiers and injuring a number of others. Another significant development is that the army has observed that after failing to get much success in the Valley, terrorists and Pakistan Army have moved their activities towards the border along with the Jammu region, they said.

The Indian Army has inflicted 20 casualties on the Pakistan Army this year, sources in the security establishment said today.

Meanwhile, the Army has foiled an infiltration attempt by a group of terrorists along the Line of Control in Poonch district, a senior Army officer said this afternoon.

"We are inflicting heavy pain on Pakistani side", said an army official. Sources said that since Kashmir experienced less snowfall this winter, the Pakistan Army is expected to "start pushing militants across the LoC" very soon.

17 new flu deaths; 165 for the season, NC health officials say
Health department records show that the vast majority of this season's flu-related fatalities, 105, were 65-years-old or older. The Hudson State Service Center Public Health Clinic in Newark still has flu vaccine for ages 6 months and older.

A search operation is underway in the area.

The Indian Army's policy on the Pakistan army is quite clear- to teach them a lesson when they "misbehave".

"The Pakistani Army chief has visited the area twice along the LoC this year while the 10 Corps Commander Lt Gen Nadim Raza has visited the border posts more than 15 occasions in this small time frame", they said. There were also tit for tat actions.

Three weeks after that incident, a school van was targeted in the Nakyal sector of Kotli district, leaving its driver dead and eight young students injured.

In the action taken by Pakistani troops, the Indian post along the LoC was also destroyed and many other Indian soldiers were injured, added ISPR. The Pakistan government claims that there were 1,970 ceasefire violations by India last year, and 335 this year.
