Some Apple iPhones crash on Telugu script bug

Given how quickly Apple releases software updates, it's likely that the company will push out some sort of update that fixes the bug soon.

Apple is apparently facing another iOS bug that crashes iPhones and blocks access to a number of popular apps including Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Gmail, and Outlook for iOS. Similarly, the character can cause an iOS or macOS web browser like Safari to crash if it's pasted into the address bar. And while that issue has been patched, a new bug has appeared that can wreck Messages, along with a number of other major apps. Now a new one has emerged for iOS 11 and this time the culprit appears to be a specific Telugu (Indian) character. According to Mobile World, the bug seems to be a lot worse when iOS displays the message in a notification. Anyone who uses Telegu (an Indian language) symbols in a text may trigger the bug and lock up their entire phone reports Business Insider.

"If the character is displayed within an application, the app in question will crash and will continue to close each time you try to start it".

Johnny Manziel Back in the Pros
I conducted a poll that showed 47 percent of the Twitter voters are cheering to see him make it back in football. Now, he's attempting to make it back to the National Football League by participating in an outside event.

The Verge further suggests that the issue has also been resolved in the public beta of iOS 11.3. That means a widely available fix should be right around the corner. In many cases, the app can not be reopened and must be reinstalled. From there, users can delete the message with the Telugu character to stop further crashing. Your only hope is to find a way to delete the message or email from another device to free your iPhone from its cycle of trying and failing to load the character.

Attempt to re-open the application.

On an iPhone, the issue is a pain as once you receive a message wth the character, you can not get back into Messages until someone sends you a new message and you open it from the notification.
