Brighton defender Connor Goldson: Coventry made it tough

Brighton and Hove Albion head coach Chris Hughton was delighted for new signing Jurgen Locadia after the forward netted a debut goal.

The Dutchman had not played first-team football for more than two months but he opened the scoring against the League Two Sky Blues, before headers from Connor Goldson and Leonardo Ulloa sealed the Seagulls' spot in the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time in 32 years.

Albion, whose most recent quarter-final appearance came during the 1985/86 campaign, have arguably been handed the most favourable tie of the round.

'From our point of view, we've been very fortunate this season that we haven't had a lot of injuries and when that's the case you have a lot of players pushing to play, ' said Hughton, whose team have been drawn away to Manchester United in the last eight of the cup.

"To get off the mark in your first game, I'm sure will give him a lift".

Asked if he had a squad capable of lifting the cup this season, Hughton replied: "I have no idea".

'There has been that mainstay of the team but a lot of competition around that and it's always hard for me to pick a team'. A home win at [1.38] looks banker bet material to me but backing Brighton -1 on the handicap at 11/10 on the Betfair Sportsbook appeals just as much. "We'll see who we get in the draw to tonight and see if we can get to Wembley".

During 1988-1993, the Congress in alliance with the tribal-based political party-Tripura Upajati Juba Samity-governed the state. Brisk polling is underway for 59 seats of the 60-member Tripura assembly.

Jonson Clarke-Harris snatched a late consolation for the League Two side but they never truly threatened to deny Chris Hughton's men a fourth match unbeaten in all competitions.

City manager Mark Robins was pleased with his players' display on the south coast and hopes it can help kick-start a promotion push.

"But we've been given a good opportunity and it's up to us to take that one".

"I think first and foremost, you've got to understand the age of our team - we're very, very young", said Robins.

"We've watched enough games of them and they have made progress so far to this stage, and of course a big win against Stoke in a previous round, so that you can't take lightly", he added.

"And it was important for us to do that".
